That Frieza namek saga was AMAZING.

But I can't dwell on that too much because I'm going through episodes so fast, on episode 33 it's just too good. Finally got to Trunks and the cyborg saga!

Oh my god this is the episode that I first watched which introduced me to tfs dbz abridged! So amazing, I love trunks that internal scream lol.

It's making me wanna play legacy of goku 2 so bad. I want to play it but don't have the game with me right now darn.

This show makes me want to find out more about the lore of these 2 androids and who they were. Did Dr Gero design 2 robots to look like teens? Or did... oh god did he kidnap 2 teens and turn them into androids, like shove bombs and cyber parts into their body? Because either scenario is pretty damn horrible, but especially the latter.

And I'm talking about actually dbz the source material so Toriyama feel free to weigh in any time.

Oh damn awesome. Where you guys aware of "captions (Canada)" on youtube? It's absolutely hilarious and now I may have to rewatch the series all over again to read those hilarious comments.

Besides the whole killing goku thing, the androids don't seem so bad, certainly not antagonistic or anything. If anything vegeta is the one who comes off looking like an asshole, constantly picking a fight with android 18 and even calling her the c-word!

Not canonically. Cell or gero (I forget which) says they were tracking goku with those little drones up until name and then stopped. This is why they didnt know about the ssj transformation. Cell doesnt have frieza DNA, future trunks wasnt a thing yet and gohan was only like...6

sadly it's never gonna be finished though. I was following it for years, but I'm kinda disillusioned that after all this time, they are just gonna end it now with cell saga. they could have gotten to buu saga if they hadn't taken such a sweet ass long fucking time to make each episode. their excuse is they want to quit now cause they are too old and have lives now. well that's own fault for being so god damned slow. you should have already been at Buu saga by now years ago.

I really wanted to hear what they did to handle the Fusion voices

Oh my god this post. Just... oh my god. I don't even know where to start. Just go watch an episode breakdown video of theirs, and appreciate the effort and time it takes for them to give us a show that's pretty much the best and only way to watch a show like DBZ. Completely for free too.

And I for one would not want them to do buu saga either. I would love to see how they handle the culmination of gohan's character in cell saga and since this is the canon way to watch dbz, best to stop there. A one off joke here and there about buu is fine but I don't know if even teamfourstar can fix the garbage that is the buu saga.

I get they have those now. I am saying they should have taken care of the show before they got that old. finish to end of Buu saga when they are still young and could handle it. they cause this themselves by taking their sweet time

And maybe they would have if it was easier to produce and was something they could make money off of. You act like it's easy to write, record, edit, and produce these videos. It takes a ton of work to complete these things and they can't even make money off of them. It would basically be a full time job that they don't get paid for doing, can you honestly blame them for not being able to pump out episodes at a rapid pace?

Oh. Hell. YES. I'm so excited to see how they handle this. Return of the revenge of meta cooler is literally the first dbz related media I've ever seen so it has a special place in my heart. I'll never forget watching the vhs tape at my cousin's place over and over. Thought the show had as heart tensing fight scenes as this movie. Admittedly the ending does seem like a copout now since meta cooler seemed nigh invincible and shouldn't have lost, but oh well. I haven't seen the other movies or even the show itself but I still think this is the best one. At the very least my favorite.

They had voiced the "cell games movie" in the buu saga, but Toei forced Funimation to cut it. Can still find the clip online though.

In fairness to Toei I can see their point

Give them an inch and they take a foot. If Toei as a company say "It's okay for these guys to make money off our work and product" Then that opens a floodgates for everyone else.

Same reason all those WoW Servers got taken down and everyone got mad

Christ the actual voice actors for the show are awful compared to dbz abridged. Teamfourstar's goku IS goku, there's no 2 ways about it. Hearing that krillin is literally cringe inducing over the adorably sympathetic tfs krillin.

It's nice that at least Funimation recognize the impact that tfs has had. I'm not even bothered by Toei; it's quite obvious that this is a case of them being incredibly insecure because teamfourstar made a better show than what they have. It reeks of that in fact.
