Biggest new Pokedex probably ever, so many legendaries, cool new powerful moves like Acrobatics, N, Colress, Zinzolin actually trying to kill you with Kyurem at one point, Team Plasma looking like an actual organized crime syndicate and not just a collection of clumsy, goofy, lowly thugs and high school dropouts, finally a Dark/Dragon, such strong Pokemon like Chandelure and Archeops, lots that evolve at much later levels, strong Victory Road, dont spend too much time using HMs to get around, PWT, cool gyms and gym leaders, register multiple items, B&W2 were without a doubt the best games in the series.

Unova was my least favorite of the first 5 regions

Eh, I still like Sinnoh better, but Unova was definitely a top-tier region.
Plus, after 3 games of fairly lame villains, Ghetsis was great. I mean, Cyrus talked a big game and all, but when the chips went down, Ghetsis actually followed through.

All this. B/W were flawed, but all of those problems were fixed in B2/W2. I have B2/W2 right at the top with Platinum and HG/SS for the best main series Pokemon games.
