I've played like 10 hours if vanilla. Enough that I know the basics and whatnot. Tell me advice for all the expansions and whatnot. Also is anyone better to bang than Piper or is she still the best we're gonna get?

Take Nick with you when you go to Far Harbor and don't bother with anyone else. He's the only one who has unique dialogue there.

All the characters you can bring with you get annoying as hell since they repeat the same 5 lines after awhile. Do yourself a favor and build a robot companion where you can change their voice or turn it off entirely.

As for expansions, I think most suggest starting at Lv20. I know the robot one requires it. You can visit Far Harbor at any level, though, by visiting the loading dock area way in the upper NE (IIRC) corner of the map, past Mahkra Meatpacking. Just follow the beach.

The huge level limit is a mixed blessing.

Those skills you really want, but aren't an immediate priority? You're probably never going to get them. But you'll live in the false hope you'll get them someday.

Yeah. Like maxing special may seem nice but I know it's not necessary for anything. Unlocking all those thing just to unlock crafting recipes also seems low priority for most things
