Wheres he getting backlash from in 1999? Why are we only hearing this now after the backlash against the johnboyega/daisyridley/trans on social medias? People were saying that "Lucas raped their childhood" and crap like that. Jake LLoyd, the child actor who played Anakin, has also gone on record saying that he had some problems dealing with the hate. No matter how much people talk about bullying, it'll always exist especially when people can hide behind their computers or phones when doing so. Contemplating suicide is silly though considering it wasn't his fault. The only problem is letting people get to you. But like you said, all this "hatred" had been around long before Twitter and all the other nonsense. They just don't see it because they can't go to every message board in existence. --- If you make an intelligent post, people tend to ignore it because they only respond to stupid. Don't believe me?
