I'm very ignorant with what sites are safe. I'm not a PC player yet and I'll get a really good gaming PC at the beginning of the year. Steam doesn't have this game though since it's so old. (1995 I think?)

Has anyone bought a game from this site before?

GoG is a very popular (and safe!) site, especially for older games. It's from CD Projekt Red, the developers of the Witcher game series.

Oh then I trust it 100%! I've never played a game from CD Projekt Red. In fact, I never heard of them until the Witcher 3. I heard good things about them but Witcher just didn't seem like a game I was intrested in. Then I saw Cyperpunk 2077. The game looked interesting so I looked into it. I remember seeing a Developer interview with them. They seemed so sincere. I trust the Lead Dev almost immediately.

GOG is probably safer than steam. No joke.

For future reference, these are the sites I trust.

The following sites I rate with the highest of trust for PC keys:

https://store.steampowered.com/
https://www.gog.com/
https://www.fanatical.com/en/
https://www.gamestop.com/
https://www.humblebundle.com/
https://www.bestbuy.com/
https://www.amazon.com/
https://www.indiegala.com/
https://www.gamersgate.com/
Jast
Mangagamer
Playism

the following sites I rate "ehhhhh" but there shouldn't be any problems:

https://groupees.com/
https://itch.io/

DO NOT:

key resellers such as G2A
ebay
third party vendors on amazon

Yeah I get the lions share of my games from GMG these days. Not an issue yet.
