I can completely understand bob bomb field being people's favorite, because it was the first level.

The first place that introduced you to the new 3D World of Mario 64. It was the magical place that let you know that things were going to be different from now on. It was the level that you played in when you first tried the game at Walmart, it was the place that put that sense of wonder into you

Running around a fully 3D Mountain, seeing those giants Chomps lunge at you from a 360 angle, being shot out from a canon in any direction

It was just THAT level

Sure, there are objectively better, more well designed levels. But it's a hell of a first impression

And it was both the first level as wll as one of the levels you pretty much had to return to later.

Wow people exclaiming shock at $40 for pictures are not used to conventions lol

Stan Lee was was about $170-ish for a picture and the same for an autograph at LACC.

I knew it'd be expensive, but even I was surprised at that. I only got the picture.
