I have no central air and the fans are no longer effective because they're just blowing hot, humid air around so I've seeked refuge in my basement. The concrete floor is a little uncomfortable, but it's the only somewhat cool spot in the whole house which is a sauna at the moment.

It's the midwest, so any given basement is stuffed full of radon.

Protip: Freeze water bottles overnight and strap them to your stomach, thighs and underarms during the day.
