It's really not, just that other words are more prolific in usage that it never really feels more appropriate to use than any other expletive that flows better from one's mouth.

Normally because it refers to women who behave negatively instead of being used to put down women for being women.

And it's undergone some transformation in the past 20 years or so given rap's mainstream appeal

There's this thing I noticed watching UK / American Kitchen Nightmares.

In UK Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon calls the crap food crap and the owner just deals with it.

In America Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon calls the crap food crap, they get moody because he's not blowing smoke in calling out their bad food and think he's just being rude.

I wouldn't want to live in either country with their awful intolerable weather but I do admire your guys honesty you rude dicks.

It's simply the worst thing you can call an American woman

But yeah, I recently watched a let's play of a Scottish girl playing dark souls and several times she calls the enemies the c word

I'll never understand why, yet guys can be called dicks, cocks, etc and its nbd.

yeah the c word sounds harsh (because we've been told to believe so, I guess) but at the end of the day it's a harsh slang for the female body part, just like dick and cock is for the male's.

Certain words are more offensive because of different cultures. For instance, no one bats an eye if you call someone a spaz in America. It'd be super offensive to do the same in England.
