Id say mine was at this small perrigoi factory packing perriogies. The pay was shit, 8 an hour, and I only worked like three maybe 4 days a week. And the hours also sucked balls too. Start time was always 7am until whenever we get done. Sometimes 9pm. Or sometimes fucking 11pm! Yeah.. might as well pitch a cot overnight too while I'm at it. And the boss was the most anal person I ever knew. If you even looked and checked just to see how much work you had left, she would say something. I had no idea how I survived that 8 months...

Jiffy Lube. Because speed is more important than quality. I could not do anything fast enough and quit before lunch.

I worked at Omaha Steaks for one day. I knew that their meat was overpriced frozen non-USDA graded junk, and they kept talking about it like it was the best thing ever. They wanted everyone to SELLSELLSELL!!! And you were required to push all kinds of extras and "specials", even if the customer said they didn't want anything else. And their pricing is complete BS; they offer the same packages in different magazines for different prices. I'm entirely too honest to shovel their manure and walked out before the first day of training was over.

If you want good steaks, try Costco. They've got USDA Prime ribeyes for about $12/lb.

Haven't worked anywhere truly awful, but I'll say Macy's. Worked in the men's store selling suits, there would be about 3 or 4 associates working in the entire store. Customers would bitch about not being able to find help because we would be so understaffed, then management would get on everyone's case about not being available. All the while we have to work on recovery in this huge store, and management sits in their office on their phone seemingly only coming out when they have orders to give.

If someone in the store went on lunch, we'd have to watch their department as well as our own, which was a huge hassle. I remember at one point I was covering shoes and suits, and I decided to take a 10 minute break because my feet were killing me. I sat at the tuxedo bench where I was able to keep an eye on both departments when a manager came by and scolded me for sitting. Said I had to go outside if I wanted to take a break. Guess management wasn't too concerned with losing sales that day.

I worked as a teacher in D.C.

Third day of school a mother cursed out a little girl and almost fought her. The girl was 7, this was an elementary school...
