Thieves won't bother with them because they'll inevitably lose the cap. I've noticed this over the years - whenever my pen stash got raided, they only took the clickers.

I keep my own personal pen in my pocket.

It's mine, and nobody but me uses it. If someone needs a pen, there are always ones around. But they don't use mine.

i'll only give someone one of my good pens if they explicitly ask for it, and i'll watch them like a hawk until I get it back

I buy bic pens in bulk so idc, take as many as you want.

I stick every pen i get up my ass and leave the smell.

That way if they steal it they get e coli at least

At school/college it was ass because i/my parents paid for it.

At my old desk, in a keypad locked office, I once had someone clean out my entire supply of ibuprofen and acetaminophen except for a few pills. And to make it worse, they put a few pills back, except they stuck them in the wrong containers - that's how I knew someone had been in there. I was furious.
