They tried to steal it in a LOWE'S parking lot, but thankfully those incapable morons couldn't get inside AND took off without their stuck shimmy. Got three of their faces in two of my cameras then gave a copy of the footage to the police.

All they did was damage the driver's side keyhole with their screwdriver and left handprints on the doors.

Even IF they managed to get in, they'd have to cut the chains from the gas pedal to the steering wheel and the steel conduit I allocated to delay them hotwiring my truck.

My brother also had his car club decked out Tahoe stolen, police called him as they were in soft-pursuit until they surrounded the thieves to some raggedy ass apartments disassembling its bumper. 7 were arrested and found 14 other stolen vehicles there. Feels good man.

They didn't break in to mine, but they got in to my brother's by bypassing its alarm system with some sort of remote.

No, but my dad's car has been broken into. Don't know anyone that has had their car outright stolen, though.

Never had mine stolen, had my license plates stolen once and then they used the plates in a crime, lol. >_>

I forget the story exactly, a friend of mine I think willingly let someone borrow his car, but it was supposed to be a quick trip and they just totally ran off with it or something, and ended up wrecking it? Was a long time ago.

My dad works for a car dealership driving new vehicles back to town that they buy at auction, and one time the crew he was on was getting back really late so they were told to just go home and bring the cars in in the morning. My dad had some big fancy pickup, and left it in the driveway overnight, but apparently someone tried to steal something from underneath it? I'm not a mechanic guy so I dunno what would be under there that people would want? But, the thief failed, AND left his wallet with ID under the truck, lol.

Nope. The closest thing is what happened to a friend's car. They broke his driver side window and didn't take anything. Not even the iPod out in plain view.

Most likely it was just some teens who decided to break the window and run off giggling like schoolgirls.
