Banjo Kazooie always takes the place of Tooie on the polls. I do not get this as Banjo Tooie is like everything the first was plus way more gameplay. You literally start with all of the same moves as the first game ended with. So I chose None of the Above.

For some reason Kazooie is rated higher. It makes no sense to me but I've given up trying to understand it.

Sometimes straightforward is better. BK is nice because everything is self-contained. BT is kind of just annoying, you're always coming up on stuff and you don't know what the fuck kind of ability you need or if you have to come to the level through another part. I guess that could describe Metroid and Zelda games, and I like those, but I dunno, with those series I expect it and you get a feel for the abilities you're likely to gain. BT was a one-off thing so it was all just a big mystery in a bad way.

Though I have to admit I ask myself the same thing about how anyone can prefer GoldenEye to Perfect Dark. But in that case I feel like PD is a more pure iteration on the design, it doesn't really take away from anything that made GE fun the way BT did to BK

I feel the same way about the Banjo games, but then I remember that I'm in the vast minority that think the first Sly game was the best because it was pure speed-running platforming and nothing else. So I understand why people would think bigger and more isn't always better.

You're the vast majority who doesn't.

Xbox 360 versions of the games are superior to the N64 versions in all possible ways, which is annoying when there are idiots who still thinks that Nintendo owns them, instead of Rare (which Microsoft owned for 17 years).

Any love for Nuts & Bolts here? Such an underappreciated game but I still understand why some people have issues with it.

N&B is at least better than BK Grunty's Revenge and Banjo Pilot on the GBA IMO.
