I kinda do but I also kinda don't.
It'd cost me around $15,000 of my own money, and probably 1.5-2 years of time. The courses would be fairly interesting and I'd poke my toes into some research to see if I like it, but everything I'd be learning in the courses I could learn for free on my own. I just wouldn't have the structured environment or the credential on my resume. Could open up some doors for more interesting positions down the road, though, and I might like academia enough to even go after a PhD afterwards. Hmmmm.... --- Do good. Eat communists. ... If it would increase what you make or open opportunities for getting a higher position/better job in the long term I'd say go for it
