Many people have dairy issues and will still face discomfort and intolerance, fermented milk or not There are yogurts available many places not that have no animal milk and will not upset your stomach. They still taste good and offer the health benefits of probiotics. Bonus, they're low in saturated fat and have no cholesterol. Goses are of German origin and are salty compared to sours or lambics. Lambics (sours in America) are made thorough spontaneous fermentation (various random yeasts and bacteria although many American brewers use more controlled methods which is why Belgium brewers have ask them to not call them lambics) while goses are top fermented ales made with brewers yeast and lactobacillus bacteria. Goses most likely had similar origins as lambics but are no longer made like true lambics.
