NOAH is the company that Misawa created when he and pretty much everyone in All Japan quit. It's where Hideo Itami worked as KENTA, who will be returning to work a NOAH show on August 29th

This is the first time in decades that the WWE as had a working relationship with a Japanese company.

They worked really well with New Japan in the past. WCW was the one that fucked New Japan over. The WWF would send the people like Hogan and Savage, and WCW would send them Buff

I dont know that anything will happen with this idea, given its now been years since Progress and ICW were talked with about being added to WWE Network and Vince has changed his mind on it after they even said at a conference call it was happening, but there is another independent show idea internally for 2019. This idea is a network special featuring talent not under contract to WWE. There would have to be a reason for it, but one would think it would be as a way to try and open doors to talent in other companies and use the relationship with WWN, ICW and Progress and perhaps others to use their talent.
