I was recently involved in the shut down of a bank branch. As the furniture guys were disassembling one of the loan officer's desk, they discovered the underside was absolutely covered in gum. Like thousands of pieces.

Too many parents teach their kids ignorant shit like "don't swallow your gum or it will stay in your stomach for years". Then those kids grow up without enough sense to realize how absolutely stupid that sounds.
