Just had a milkshake because it's a cheat day, figured I could go a little over my usual and be okay

literally 1300 calories

that's like 2/3 of my daily intake

holy fuck

I don't mind eating the same thing nearly every day, so it's not a big deal for me at this point. I just get a general idea of what's in what.

I don't think I've touched milkshakes since I found out the calorie count, among other foods (mostly sweets).

there are some delicious things that are surprisingly low in calories
but yeah, anything sugary isn't worth the effort usually

no thanks

I've tried getting more specific with macros a couple times and I always fall off the wagon when I have to legislate my intake that hard. I love food; if I associate too much guilt with it, I just self-loathe, lol.

Keeping a calorie budget lets me eat MOSTLY what I want though, within reason, and I don't find myself even really tempted to go over too often. Turns out milkshakes don't really fit that mold though >_> fucking yikes. I can fit ice cream just fine if it's a modest serving usually, did not expect a total day-destroyer from this milkshake. Like, I've consumed almost two days of calories now. Jeez.
