I don't know much about Islam, but no. They don't believe you need intermediaries in order to communicate with a higher power, and therefore they are not comparable to the structure Catholicism has.

High-ranking Muslims are usually intrinsically linked with systems of law in theocratic countries. I'm pretty sure the Pope would not be described as being much of a "judge," but Islamic leaders are the ultimate enforcers/teachers of religious dogma. As such, you have to look at the legal systems of Islamic countries.

In that sense, they are more comparable to Jewish rabbis or certain isolationist protestant sects of Christianity who have elders that enforce the religious law of the community, but it's on a much larger scale with power funneled through a larger chain of command for obvious reasons.

That said, I don't know much about it and I could be wrong.

the 2nd leader of Islam after Mo died was disputed. some said it should be his cousin, and some said it should be his like brother in law or something. that spawned the 2 sides, Sunni and Shia. and they still argue to this day. there might be rulers of each side. but nobody rules over all of Islam. cause of the disagreement

The highest office in Islam I'm aware of is "Grand Mufti", but I freely admit I'm far from an authority on the subject.

Their equivalent to the Pope is a "Caliph" which is a religious as well as political leader. The last one was deposed, I believe after the Ottoman Empire unraveled after WWI. Since then there has been no Caliph. The next highest religious leader might be the Ayatollah which is about like a Cardinal, but they are only recognized in Iran.

Also, I think the Sunni vs Shia thing has to do with who is the rightful Caliph.

well yea cause they each support a Caliph with their views. but the original separation was over the argument of who was the rightful leader of Islam after Muhammed died.

I do not support Islam in any way.
