I just finished replacing all of my 100 year old windows on the 1st floor of my house. I took out a reliable 14700 btu ac out of one of the windows but its too wide to fit in the new window.

It's either cut a hole in the wall for a $$ ductless wall unit or get a lower btu that fits the window and put up a curtain to block off the kitchen.
