I've been using a Buffalo SNES, Retrolink SNES, and PS4 controller.

The Retrolink has been my favorite one for accurate, but the start/select labels aren't as visible for children to see them for those who haven't memorized the buttons yet.

The Buffalo is nice, but wish I could map the Turbo/Clear buttons easily to resetting or RA options instead of the select button. Kind of fiddly to change manually.

I thought of just slapping an A/B/X/Y sticker in the middle of my PS4 controller so when others play on it they can easily see which buttons are which.
