at no point in my life do I plan on ending it short by having kids.

In the olden days the kids would help on the farm and take care for their parents when they got older, so back then it was understandable. But there's no reason to have kids now.

I actually just bought her a switch and spent the evening playing Odyssey and Mario Kart 8D with her, having a blast.

Idk, it's a feeling of wholesomeness and accomplishment you'll never understand because you don't have kids. It's not for everyone though and I'm not gonna be one of those annoying dicks that tells everyone they need to have kids or their life is meaningless. You do you fam.

PS. I have a 4 yr old niece. She's the biggest brat ever (and it doesn't help that my sister doesn't discipline her). My sister isn't even dating the kid's father anymore either. Ever since i've met that she devil of a niece, it's a very easy decision to never have kids.

I do the same, TC. Me and my fiancee wake up at fucking 10am every Saturday, practically high fiving and going "Lol imagine having to get up early on a Saturday cuz you have kids".

Honest to God, I would say like 80% of friends/family I know with young children all look and sound fucking miserable.
The only ones that actually seem happy are the ones that were enormous fuckups beforehand, who presumably feel like parenting actually makes their lives seem significant for once.

That's weird I'm happily married and have 1 kid we plan on having another kid next year, we aren't miserable, I also love my job and don't drive a soccer mom van or station wagon. I naturally wake up early I dislike sleeping I only get 5-6 hours a day. I turn 30 this year.
