I don't think you should be punished for stating a non PC opinion. People are free to respond to you with criticism or boycotting, but I don't want the law or corporations to become involved.

I believe in personal responsibility. I acknowledge that not everyone shares the same priviledges, but I think everyone needs to take responsibility for themselves despite it.

I'm very left wing and socially liberal but I think abortions should be more restricted than they are in England currently.

I'm not sure I count as a liberal but I think we should keep guns and I think we should ban recreational marijuana.

I don't know if the last on is conservative though.

I consider myself liberal, but I'm not nearly as gung-ho about gun control as some others. I think background checks and mental/psychological evaluations to keep mentally unstable people from getting their hands on them is the farthest that gun control should ever go. If you're mentally stable enough that you can be counted on to safely (this is the keyword here) use a gun and safely lock it away when it's not in use, then your right to own a gun should never be infringed.

I am pro environmentalism. Really the only argument people have against it is they don't believe in global warming/climate change, but there are many benefits to pro-environmental policies besides reversing climate change, even ones that aren't related to the environment (such as less traffic and less expensive travel)

Just a note I lean conservative but that's just because the things I care most about I tend to have more "conservative" opinions

I consider myself a conservative that holds many left leaning views.

Off the top of my head-

Oppose the death penalty. Sometimes I might say someone deserves it and in some cases I don't feel too bad about it, but society as a whole would be better off if we didn't have the ability to just decide that someone deserves to die.

Easier access to education and healthcare. Education should be affordable and healthcare should be "free", as in paid by tax dollars.

Our military needs to seriously shrink down. We are a large country and we need to be able to defend ourselves and our allies, but we pump way too much into our military.

It's funny I don't really see my conservative stances as conservative. They're just typically associated with the republican party.

I am very pro Israel (including the Jerusalem Capitol)

I'm also in favor of the 2nd amendment and I think we should have less restrictions than we currently do.

I do believe banning guns would make things better if it were realistically doable but it's not. The only way guns will become banned is if the people voluntarily give them up. But until that happens I will remain pro gun rights.

I identify as a liberal but I have many conservative view points.

PC culture has gone way too far and is threatening our 1st Amendment.

I absolutely support the 2nd Amendment and I own both an AK47 and an AR15.

I believe lowering taxes will create economic prosperity and the less involved government is in our economy, the better off it is.

I support stronger border control to keep MS13 and potential Canadian gangs out of the USA.

I believe over regulation from the EPA is killing off small farms in this country as it has driven up the prices of new machinery substantially and also created higher demand for more reliable, pre emissions machinery.

But other than that, I'm pretty much a liberal. I support gay marriage. I support drug and prison reform even though these are becoming conservative viewpoints over the last few years. And I also oppose war.

1. I don't agree with banning guns and think there's a solution outside of it to reduce gun violence. Banning a substance or object only ever leads to illegal and haphazard use of it. (Prohibition, War on Drugs, Tobacco, etc.)

But it needs way more regulation than there currently is. There is no equivalent of the FDA for firearms and quite frankly there should be. Sale of firearms should be controlled just like any drug. Any tax that comes from the sale of firearms should go towards funding this branch and benefit victims of gun violence.

2. There's a staunch victim complex plaguing every corner of discourse these days. Feeling sorry for someone/ourselves is not a solution, validation, invalidation, nor an argument.

3. The lack of leadership and progressive reform in the Democratic Party will lead to its downfall. If 40% of your voting base did not like your candidate, it's not their fault, it's not your opposition's fault it's your party's. Hillary Clinton was a shit candidate with too much controversy to be viable.

Im not as forgiving about illegal immigration as the rest of the democrats. I feel like handing down immigration reform without first making an effort to deal with undocumented immigrants in the country as-is would be like putting the cart before the horse (as changing immigration laws shouldnt make it okay if you had already crossed before they took effect).

Also while I support new gun control laws, I do not advocate outright bans of certain weapons.
