While pedos are obviously trash tier humans, this upsurge in topics about them/flaming them at any chance doesn't really serve any purpose other than feeding people's egos. The only person who I've seen engaging people with their proclivities in a sensible way has been @Asherlee10 because instead of outright flaming them she at the least suggests they seek help and provides resources and reasoning as to why

Not just users, like news stories and people that users here know and stuff. This shit is blowing right up right now. Makes me a bit depressed when I realize how rampant the whole thing actually is.

She suggested I seek therapy for finding women with childlike features (which only occur when they cosplay) attractive which just boggled my mind when she said it.

She then went on to say that I would inevitably turn to CP, possibly molest a child, all this nonsense that has absolutely correlation to what I'm into. In this case, I much rather endure her flaming than put up with that nonsense that only paints me as a person in distress.

There's a handful of users who have recently decided to harass the shit out of people they've personally decided must be pedophiles for whatever reason. This includes them going and finding news articles about actual pedophiles so they can draw comparisons between said real child molesters and users they don't like. It's a case of "vocal minority" just shouting extra loud lately. The unfortunate truth is that child molestation is, and always has been, extremely common but it often gets unreported or ignored outright. As a result it isn't hard to find a child molestation news story if you go looking for one.

The really fucked up part, and the only reason I'm involved in it at all, is that these cyber bullies are trying to start shit with people that aren't even remotely pedophiles they just don't like them. They have also ignored the ACTUALLY pedophiles on CE (who I can't name because of ToU).

If you're implying why I'm actively looking them up, I'm not. Some of these cosplayers will typically dress like young schoolchildren, but their whole hobby doesn't revolve around dressing like that.
