At first I thought, surely since this is mahvel they will tame it down a little bit, and the first episode was indeed brutal but not a lot of blood was spilled, b the end of the series the characters would usually be fucking caked in their own blood, it was crude asfuck, they hit a homerun.

say what you will about how tropey it all was and how the characters were the tyical archetypes, the FEEL of punisher was intact IMO.

The Punisher series be it movie or comic usually has a lot of blood and gore, only when he appears in a spider-man tv show or another heros main series is Punisher toned down.

Ironically I first saw Punisher in the Spider-Man Animated Series back in the 90s.

woah I dont remember him being in spiderman, I only remember spidey meeting wolverine in a back alley and then the xmen, which blew my mind cause in my preteens I did not know everything was under the mahvel umbrella.
