I'm chewy. I add context and conjecture because I need a reason to dislike people even if those reasons are figments of my imagination.

Hey chewy, if I wanted to say I dislike Frank Turner, I'd say that. I don't need to hide my opinions but I've never heard a single Frank Turner song for whatever reason. But I do know that the statement "you need to be drunk to listen to loud music" is an outright fallacy. I think that's a huge point you're missing and have chosen to focus on the "good luck" since you're clearly looking for a reason to instigate drama where there is none.

I'm Sunny I present events with a revisionist history so that I can appear to not be a hypocrite.

To be fair, I guess your post is ambiguous enough that it could be a general statement, but I really don't buy that's what it was. You're just making excuses after the fact. Plus in many other past instances you've flat out mis-remembered or mis-characterized things. And it wouldn't really be that big of a deal if you were to take a jab at Jen like that if you didn't go and say that it's not okay to make fun of people's musical choices.

You seem to fail to understand why people dislike you. We don't really care that much if you want to be insulting or what your tastes are or whatever odd things you believe in. It's the fact you act so holier-than-thou as you do it, while you constantly shit on your own alleged values as you apparently think the rules you have for others don't apply to you.

Unpopular opinion: DMB is a perfectly fine take on the jam band and doesn't deserve the hate it gets. If you feel all their songs sound the same or are boring, that's fine too. I for one would love to see them high af and with a nice selection of flavorful beers

She's such a victim that has never done similar to me and my wife repeatedly for zero reason (now I see that much of her posting was during dark, drunken times). My mando comment happened once while sober as she was taking pot shots at my wife.

Jen doesn't claim after the fact to not do those things though.

The comment I was "hung up" on is when you said it's not okay to make fun of people's music choices. Even if that's not what you were doing (which it sure looks like), it wasn't really necessary at all, just take the jabs and move on. You really have an uncanny knack for coming off like a hypocrite. If you didn't do that all the time, I really think people wouldn't mind you that much.

You're always trying to take the high road, but instead of just brushing off rude comments, you take it way too far and have to say "I don't do what people are doing to me here". That's just opening yourself up for more ridicule. If you want to take the high road, then lead by example. Most people who are righteous don't have to constantly remind everyone of how righteous they are.

Sunny's fine. I think most of the posters here are fine. I don't usually get involved in the circle jerks just because someone isn't this board's idea of "perfect". There's only a couple or so posters here I flat-out don't like.

With that all said, there was nothing inherently wrong with this thread.
