Honestly, I'd like to see George Lucas make a Star Wars movie again(with help from other people of course like with the original trilogy).

The newer films just don't have that same Star Warsy feel like the original trilogy or even the prequels had.

Rogue 1 was a step in the right direction though IMO.

Oh and even though TLJ made 1.3 billion 1 billion gets split between production, advertisement, loan pay offs for the 4 billion dollar acquisition, then the fact that domestic only makes 66% of ticket sales and foreign is at 33%.

This explains the financial failure of TLJ and solo and why they are both failures.

Either way, yes, Solo failed, hardly anyone is denying that much. Star Wars is bigger than Solo, though. Hell, it's bigger than the movies as a whole at this point. It is literally explaining how movies get their money........it isn't some dude coming up with a theory, they are telling you this is how movies make their money and what goes into buying up a 4 billion dollar franchise like star wars......like how is this not credible? It is literally explaining using math and how the movie system works.......

The problem is that, even though I'm not going to watch the video, you said it explains about TLJ and Solo. But those aren't the only Star Wars properties that are going to make money. You have to also account for future titles and things with the brand made in other media. Which a youtube video cannot predict.

Oh, and I think that Disney bought "Lucasfilm" and not just "Star Wars" so if they make a Indiana Jones movie that'll also count towards the $4 billion they used to buy it. How much do you think a new Indiana Jones movie would make?

Yes, it explains about lucasfilm as a brand financially. Then when apply it to each individual movie that comes out every year then yes, it explains the financial situation that TLJ and Solo are in.

That is actually a good idea, but is lucasfilm' s smart enough to not only make another Indiana Jones movie, but one that doesn't some how not crap all over it? I honestly don't trust lucasfilm to make a good movie right now.

2. Slow down on the releases
3. Stop creating characters based on what might sell toys (Jar Jar), but also based on expanding diversity (Rose). I'm all for genuine diversity, but characters like Rose are clearly board room decisions, not writer's room decisions.
4. Some subtle political allegory is good. Over the top, beat you over the head with obvious leftist propaganda is obnoxious and sure to displease. And I say that as someone who supports some leftist ideology.

2. They wouldn't have to slow down if they were good movies, I personally would have loved a star wars movie every December. Which is what we should have been getting, with quality of course. MCU has multiple movie a year, you see what heroes you like, no one really has to go to everyone. Which is the way I was hoping star wars would be run.

What I don't understand about this practice is even if you're a SJW who is hardcore on those politics, putting "over the top, beat you over the head with obvious leftist propaganda" in your movies drives anyone who isn't already a SJW away from those beliefs. The only people this kind of message resonates with, are people who already agree with the message, so it defeats it's own purpose.

How far up your own butt is your head that you cannot understand this. It's the ultimate SJW practice of taking the moral high ground, making sure everyone knows you're there, but not actually caring about making positive change.
