If he's not playing the game, he's watching people play it on twitch, if he's not watching it on twitch he's watching on YouTube, if he's not on YouTube he's talking about it. Plus, when he plays it he narrates what's happening to anyone nearby, or himself. Since he watches so many lets plays, he thinks screaming and yelling at every little thing is how you're supposed to react and that his team mates love him for it despite their complaints for him to quiet down and actually help them. It takes away the tactical aspect when someone can just spam buildings after being out of position. Ironic thing is I've tried getting another friend or two into various games we could play online. So of course they get hooked on this stupid game. Weapons are too hard to find, I usually end up with bandaids and ammo. What seriously marks the game as faulty is I can go a whole round, making it to top 10, without finding a gun or firing a shot. It's not like I'm avoiding people either. I casually walk towards the marker and nothing happens. Haven't bothered figuring out how to build. I've had a lot of fun with the Battle Royale portion. Once you get into the building aspect it actually becomes fun but it definitely is an uphill battle at first.
