B-List Actor, John Schneider was released early from jail last week and blames his CONSERVATIVE VALUES as the reason for spending just a few hours in the slammer!!

The Dukes of Hazzard and Smallville star was to spend 3 days in jail in Los Angeles for failing to pay spousal support to his estranged wife, Elvira Castle

He was released only after a few hours because of OVERCROWDING and now he says Republican Stars are the subject of conservative bias and stronger scrutiny and claims that is why he fell "victim" in court during his alimony battle!!

He said "I do think there's a bias against conservatives, Republicans in hollywood, but i think if you let that alter how you are, then i question how you are. Within the court system, i was treated like i was guilty until proven innocent, like a second class citizen. Conservatives are being unfairly treated by the courts"

The Trump Supporter said while he didn't support Trump, like any good conservative and citizen, he supports the president. The difference is that he voted for another conservative candidate and doesn't mind people knowing that as he's always been a right-wing person but at the end of the day, conservatives know when to fall in line and he's calling ALL of his Hollywood Republicans to come together when they are being mistreated by the judical system!!

The smallville actor didn't have it so bad either as he went in at 1030am to start his sentence and came out just before 4pm on the same day as he was a fre man after having served 5 hours of his total 72 hour sentence.

It's common for inmates accused of nonviolent crimes to be released early due to overcrowding in LA County Jail as a judge orderd him to serve a brief jail sentence and 240 hours of community service for failing to pay alimony.

He said he was disheartened by the system but would hold is "head up high" during jail.

He was given until March to pay more than 150,000 in delinquent spousal support but claimed he couldn't aford it after losing the majority of his money when his Louisiana movie studio went under

John says "I've worked 7 days a week, 80 hours a week, at least since 1978, i have, as every working person has, a mountain of debt that was attached to my dream. Tehre's a group now that somehow feels they're entitled to life or even luxury without work and the judical system agrees with that"

Elvira filed for divorced in 2014 after 21 years of marriage due to irreconcilable differences and share 3 adult children. She filed for support as she was a stay at home mother throughout the marriage and didn't have the skills to compete in the modern workforce..

John re-married to Alicia Allain who is also a stay at home wife.

- Spousal support / alimoney is a pretty bs relic of the past that shouldn't be relevant anymore, and is sexist (take a rich guy and stay at home mom; then flip the roles around but keep the income level the same...the stay at home mom is going to get a much larger alimoney than the stay at home dad)

- It's ridiculous how rigid the courts are about changing the amount owed even when the payer experiences a dramatic lessening of income

- Most importantly...I thought debtor prisons were illegal and the very idea goes against the founding principles of this country?

I disagree w/ him about conservatives being treated unfairly, but I don't doubt he has been in this case, specifically. But it has nothing to do w/ his political beliefs.

Court should be done over bbs.

He adheres to an ideology that prefers wives to be stay-at-home moms, then, upon divorce, he has to pay spousal support because his now ex-wife doesn't have the skills to compete in the workforce as a result of being a stay-at-home mom.

But no, it's the judicial system that wronged him.

But stay at home moms are unlicensed nurses, doctors, babysitters, cooks, cleaners, therapists, drivers etc. Which is the same as all those professional counterparts. So they should be able to integrate back into society np.
