Desk will definitely need to be replaced but it'll do for now. I intend to move into a bigger apartment once my wife and daughter get here so didn't want something big that I'd need to move.

Mattress pad should get here tomorrow. 12cm thick. Again, nothing special but any kind of padding will help on these rock hard mattresses. The Chinese seem to like hard mattresses for some crazy reason, they just make me toss and turn and give me hip pain.
