If youve never played Go, you are not the target audience. Hell if youve played any Pokmon game besides Go youre not the target audience.
This is for the casual Go player that would never touch the main games.

Basically it's a normal remake of Pokemon Yellow, where the only major difference that resembles Go is the catching system, which had been simplified to a button press/motion gesture instead of fighting and weakening a Pokemon.

Yeah, that doesn't bother me too much if trainer battles are still normal.

But like, outside of just transferring Pokemon that you catch in Go into Let's Go it's not like I'm going to be locked out of anything right? Or is there still not have a clear answer on that?

You could power up some pokemon in Pokemon Go and transfer it to Lets Go, or you could just catch a pokemon in Lets Go and level it up in that game. In the end there won't be a difference.

It is not, though.

It does look to follow the path of red, blue, yellow, just without wild pokemon battles. There are still trainers, gyms, team rocket and a rival and the video from E3 shows Veridian forest with pretty much the same trainer placement so it does look like a remake.

That said it feels like it's a beginners Pokemon game meant to bridge Go to the main series for new fans.

I don't know how I missed all the stuff about the battles being traditional. For some reason I thought they were messing with that system too.

My interest in the game just went up considerably.

Is RE2 coming out in 2019 not a remake? I mean, they changed many things around completely and it doesn't nearly look the same.

it's not like the old games. someone posted a pic of inside Brock's gym and they don't let you fight Brock until you have a water or grass pokemon that can destroy him. it's too causal. it's easy mode

Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire let you catch Deoxys.

AKA not remakes.
