So this lady that I work with have been antagonizing me for a about a few weeks now and I have no clue what I did to her. In fact, she's not even above me or anything, we got different managers and everything. But at first, she was always just subtle and super passive-aggressive.
She would always unfavorably me compare to the last bitch who worked in my position and saying that how I worked was "pretty sad" sometimes. Always telling me what I'm doing wrong, despite not having the same job. I really don't give a fuck what she thinks because everyone else always tell me that I'm doing a great job. So I just got into the habit of tuning her out recently.

But today it came to a head. She comes by the desk that I work at, talking shit as usual as to how I handle things. Then she said something like, "If you're going to ignore me then I'm going to SHOW you how to do YOUR job, kid."

Then she starts shaking the can around near my face talking slowly like I don't understand her, "You see this? You use this to clean your desk." (And I don't want to pull the race card, but I have a feeling she was talking like that because I'm Asian-American).
And I finally tell her that I'm only suppose to use the spray for metals on the walls and that I have these specific rags for everything else. That's what they taught me when I first started working here.
Then she gets mad and says something like "They're not here and I'm telling you to do it." (Again, she's not above me).
So I just reiterate what my management told me and go back to tuning her out.

This really made her angry because she started periodically walking by my area with people that she know saying things like "Look at this shit", "Piss poor job", snapping pictures and going on about how I'm doing half the work as the other person who use to work here.
So the guy that manages her eventually get here and I sit down and talk with him about how she's been acting, how she's making me feel and the remarks she's been saying about me in the earshot of guests no less. So he goes and talk to her. I don't know what he said but she goes off on him and he's telling her to go home but she's sticking around making a scene. They eventually call security to get her and she's being tugged away, I'm waving her goodbye.

It's not even the afternoon and its already been a wild fucking day. They gave me the choice to go home if I want or take a break to clear my head, which I'm currently doing.

Tl;Dr - Some lady at work had a meltdown because I wasn't doing everything she said (despite me not even being under her) and they had to call security to take her away.

Sounds like she 100% got herself fired. You showed more restraint than I would have. Were you intimidated about confronting her do you think? Because if she's not your line manager and she's not actually teaching you anything useful then she was way out of line to begin with.

I wasn't afraid to go to the manager. He's a great guy and one of the people that's always acknowledging me doing good. To him, he knows something is up if I'm complaining about someone.

Bro, I have a similar situation at my job. I'm the IT Network Administrator and the lady who antagonizes me is the HR Assistant. I think she is bipolar because some days she comes in happy and cherry as hell but other days she goes into with this episode of being the most irritable nasty bitch in the world. She's been sent home a few times for this too. When she's being a bitch like this I make it my mission to ignore her completely and I know she's dying for me to say something to her so she can go off on me.

My boss is aware of her issues and he told me to just simply ignore her and if she goes off to the extreme then her boss will take care of it.

People bring in their stress and shit from home to work all the time. A few years ago I found out almost half of my coworkers are on medication for anxiety, depression and all these mental health issues. There are a ton of variety why anyone would have a meltdown. Employers needs to learn how to better take care of this shit.

People bring in their stress and shit from home to work all the time. This might actually be the case. Her manager told me that she might be going through something because something about her friend passing away.
That's sad to hear, but she really shouldn't take it out on people, especially at work. I have shit that I deal with outside of work too. I try to leave that stuff at the door when I clock in though.

I'll just chime in to say you handled it very well - not engaging with her and instead going to your supervisor. Having been on both sides of this (somebody catching flack and having to address an employee giving flack to another employee), you helped keep yourself clear while acting in an ethical manner :)

myself i'm saving for an apartment. still looking but at least i wont get kicked out but the other 2 neighbors (the drug addicts and deadbeat) will likely go soon they haven't payed rent in 3 month's i tried telling the new landlord to start eviction process they aren't going to pay.

My last apartment, I use to live right across from some drug dealers. They weren't hiding it or anything, they were blatantly out in the open trying to sell to people. Every time I had some one come over, they would get stopped by them and the apartment complex wouldn't do anything about it. It was one of the things that prompted my move.
