I just wanna see my fav FF and Disney characters interact, not some bullshit about being heartless or whoever the fuck Roxas is. Basically all original content is trash, gimme Disney worlds with small plotlines.

If they had kept the storytelling style, atmosphere and aesthetic of KH1 it'd be much better. It went full shonen anime in KH2 and hasn't recovered since.

Right, you can easily tell that KH1 was an experiment that was risky but paid off and had this sense of wonder. KH2 and beyond just ride off the coattails without really understanding why said experiment was successful to begin with. I feel like a lot of people who prefer KH1 kind of feel the same way, as if the series took a turn for the worst in spite of it becoming more "fun" gameplay wise.

gameplay got worse too.

They removed the fun platforming elements and exploration. KH2 was linear af.

I think I'm gonna break down and try to track down a copy of Birth by Sleep and play it at least, seeing as how I actually own a PSP now. Not really interested in the other games, even at the risk of confusion in KH3. I've owned CoM almost since release, but I can't make it more than a few minutes into that one without losing interest.

I've been picking on KH3 hard over the last...um, five years, but I'm sure I'll end up playing it. At the very least it will hopefully put a capstone on two games which at one time I loved playing.
