As tensions between Canada and the US continue to make news, Canadians seem to be in unity with Justin Trudeau and the 355 Members of Parliament who said they should have retaliatory tariffs!!

A new poll shows that 70% of Canadians support Trudeau in implementing retaliatory tariffs against the Americans and to fight back against Trump's threat of tariffs on canadian steel and aluminum!! 15% say not to retaliate while the rest were undecided

75% of Canadians oppose America's decision to impose these tariffs as the Bruce Anderson with Abacus Data said "People seem really united in response to Donald Trump's tariffs against Canadian aluminum and steel. They're mad, they believe that Canada should push back. They're not sure if pushing back is going to work but they think it's better than lying down".

This comes as former Conservative prime minister, Stephen Harper also reiterated on Fox News his support for Trudeau to retaliate as canadians don't like the idea of accepting whatever it is that the US President tells us we have to live with.

Whether you're NDP, Liberal or Conservative, Canadians seem adamant on one response...retaliate.

Trump also said that Canadians will pay dearly for Trudeau's mistakes as he's gone on the attack against his allies but praises america's (former) enemies, North Korea and Russia

It pains me to my very core to say it, but Trudeau. Trump is basically destroying everything on a global scale now (except with regards to Russia, China, and North Korea).

Given what happened to the US economy the last time the US tried placing sweeping tariffs on steel, I'm not actually sure there is that much of a need to retaliate. Trump's going to be hurting the US enough all on his own.
