It's like SM4SH1.8. They clearly reused most assets and sped the game up for a new feel. Seems like they added enough to kind of justify calling it a new game, but in reality It's just a highly updated version of SM4SH.

From what I'm seeing, it's a new game where they focused on getting every single character back and updating several of them, as opposed to losing a lot of characters and focusing on newcomers.
