I know there's a spectrum, but you get what I mean. I love horror that just puts you on edge for a while, don't care for horror where everyone's guts explode.

the former fo sho. It's just tense af the entire way through. There are some gorey scenes here and there, but they aren't included to gross you out, they genuinely help build the tension and understand the characters better. It's really well done.
