Never, and I've gotten into fistfights at two of those previous jobs before I became a cop.

No matter how shitty the job is, if you make yourself indispensable, you can get away with a ton of shit.

I would have thought it was the deeding that did it. Or does it go hand in hand *hehe* with the alcoholism.

But only been fired once well twice if you count the time I was let go from being a paper boy

Three times.

1) My first job as a busser at a brand new restaurant. Pretty sure they overhired and just ended up cutting the slack after awhile.

2) Making signs. I worked their for quite awhile. Then suddenly without warning I was canned for some bs typical reasoning. No warning or feedback prior about what was said. Shortly before that they hired the brother of a guy thats been working there a long time and I feel they were doing him a favor and didnt need to keep both of us.

3) Worked At Starbucks for 7 years and with a dozen managers, never had problems until the last one. She wrote me up for every little thing (no verbal warnings). One day I was helping out another location and wore dark brown khaki instead of plain khaki. That manager told my manager who wrote me up again and apparently to HR when X amount of write ups come through it means termination. Bye bye me.
