The fact we also have such extremely low voter turn out rate isn't entirely due to apathy but rather suppression and gerrymandering, etc. The EC got trump who has lowered taxes, increased the national spending, increased his own fortune the entire way. But go on about how bad actual democratic elections are. Remember all those times the US toppled other nations then forced a democratic election and either got a puppet regime to win and deal resources (mostly oil) with the US.
