Just got it from the Xbox sale for $30. Had rented it three times already and was just waiting for the digital version to go on sale.

It's like a much, much better version of 7 Days to Die and Ark. The only downside I've seen so far is that there's only one non-randomized map, so it might not be as replayable; though that does allow the map to be more focused and detailed.
