I have an xbox 1 and 360 controller

Which do you think would be the best way to play? I used to play mgs on consoles with a controller but form what I am seeing the controls are different now and you have to aim with the right thumb which i never got used to. I could always aim with the left stick though like in older games and in resident evil 4. Will i eventually just get used to it if i go the controller route?

Play it with a controller. kb+m is great for FPS. This game was designed to be played with a controller, and as a 3rd person game I can definitely see it. I've tried both and controller is definitely better here. Have fun, the game is far from perfect, but still nothing short of incredible.

which controller should i use?

I have a ps4 controller too but havent set it up with my pc yet (dont know how). Im guessing since its a jp game that it was designed around the ps4 controller?

did it ever come out on xbox? should it still work fine with a xbox controller?

I personally like the PS4 controller a lot more than the Xbone controller. Use the PS4 controller, I love how the pad in the center works with the game.

I started with a controller, switched to KB + M. It feels very good in this game, plus the aiming (from what I remember) was first person.
