Current Events > I'm rewatching Agents of Shields because reasons.

I've only seen the first two seasons sofar, but going through season 1, I forgot just how good the first season is.

I feel like I'm the only one who actually liked the show from the very first episode, and kept liking it even more up to season 3.

It's bewildering how people did not like season 1. It's like, what's not to like? Obvious Whedon influences, good. A Scooby gang Buffy feel, good. The airbus giving it Firefly vibes of exploring new areas, goood. It was a nice combination of all those things. And while in the beginning it tried hard to tie itself to a universe that won't even acknowledge it (which to a degree it still sorta tries to do I guess) it doesn't really take away from the enjoyability factor and getting to know these characters and love them (or subsequently hate them)

Agents of shield really was a fantastic show.

Also a bit early for a rewatch huh? I get it though, the plot moves so fast in between those 2 seasons (so much so that in retrospect I feel like they burned through great material too quickly) that you wanna rewatch just so you don't miss anything.
