A Shocking Poll was released that shows many americans DO NOT believe that MUSLIM AMERICANS should have the right to VOTE!!

They said that muslims "are not american enough" as they see little difference between Muslims from other countries and Muslim Americans and say they shouldn't be allowed to vote in american elections and many WOULD support a temporary ban on Muslims entering the country!!

It's split down party lines as Demcorats believe more than 2/3 of Muslims wanted to fit in while Republicans only think 1/3 of them did.

Overall, only 51% of them believed Muslim Americans respect american ideals ans and laws and only 56% of them think they want to fit in.

While it found to be on partisan lines on many issues, they did agree on 3 things: Muslims tend to be religious, have outdated views on women and gay people

Muslims ranked the LOWEST of any demo group, just behind feminists with a score of 48 on favourability scale

The perception among non-muslims were inconsistent with how Muslims view themselves with a large portion stating they are patriotic.

Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesperson for the Council of American-Islamic Relations say the survey shows they are not a reflection of reality and that most american muslims are well integrated patriots and blames squarely on Donald Trump for the negative perception

I think voting should only be allowed if you can pass a quiz with a random set of 10 questions related to the candidates. No tricks or anything arbitrary or unreasonable. Just very basic stuff anyone would know if they're paying attention.

Uninformed voters can be as toxic as a dictator.

Voting should be mandatory. Don't just get the opinion of the vocal majority, get the opinion of the entire population, warts and all. Abolish all the voter ID crap that's designed to reduce turnout, make it compulsory and if need be, vote or be fined.
