Same as always.

Got a few hours of Warframe in tonight. Kinda bored right now, though. The 3:30-5:30 period is pretty dull, but there's just enough foot traffic that gaming becomes too much of a hassle, so I usually just turn it off and browse CE or YouTube for a bit. I've had a couple of morons in the corner playing scratch-offs for about 20 minutes now. Fuck, I hate those people. They're always dirty, gross, obnoxious, and stupid. Like it's almost a requirement. I'd say a solid 95% of the people who play scratch-off lottery (more than just grabbing a ticket and leaving) are disgusting slobs. -_-

Yeah, it's pretty fucked up. Especially because the people who do it tend to be the very people can't actually afford to do it in the first place. :-/ It's sad and depressing, more than anything.

Like these two guys right now aren't even actually playing the tickets. They're just buying them and then immediately scanning them to see if they've won.

Night shift has its ups and downs. I've been doing these 8-8s for half a year now and it sucks not being able to do normal shit on your off days without aging yourself like a mother flipping the sleep schedule around. Then again, not feeling any guilt when you spend 8-12 hours straight on a gaming binge because it's night time and there isn't anything to do is also nice.

yeah it kinda sucks
i'm looking to find a new job soon, hopefully higher on the totem pole (or lower? is that how it works)
but definitely getting to goof off for most of the day is pretty great

i only stay awake fully on friday and sunday, when my work week starts and ends.

Friday I'll get off work and stay up the whole day before falling asleep at night.
Then Saturday I have a normal day, sleep at night
Wake up Sunday morning and stay up for 24 hours

Nurses

It was my night off, but I got offered a shift for $18 hr (that's high for a cna in Missouri) to sit down and take care of a dying patient. Every 2 hours I swab their mouth for hydration then go back to playing my switch or use my phone for entertainment.

That's the number 1 reason I never played on multiplayer servers in Ark. Single-player only for me. I'm not setting my damn alarm clock to wake up and nurse a digital dragon baby. Love the game, though. I'm sure it's a lot of fun with buddies, but that kind of thing turns a game into a literal job. Making sure you've got 10 hours worth of food in the feeding trough so your dinos don't starve to death while you're at work, investing ridiculous amounts of resources into defenses so some random doesn't come along and destroy your entire base while you're sleeping...it's just stupid.

Yeah I don't stress too much about it honestly

Luckily the server has some mods and shit that makes taking care of dinos easier
Like I don't have to gather 10 hours worth of food forever I can do it in about half an hour and it lasts 10 days not 10 hours lol

but yeah the incubation times n shit, turning into a literal job, i do everything i can do avoid that
my play style is such that I sit and develop my base without relying too much on that job stuff
