I've never really paid much attention to twich or any of this, steaming kind of became a thing after I was done playing games for the most part. but I went down a rabbit hole on the whole culture the past few days, and discovered that there are these people that do streams of themselves just living their everyday life, but they like do crazy stupid shit to get attention and viewers. It's basically an amateur reality show.

The whole thing is crazy as shit to me, mostly that there are people who just give these guys money. And alot of these guys make decent money, like over a thousand dollars per stream sometimes. I came across this guy called Ice Poseidon who I guess is the biggest of the "real life" streamers. And he has a sub reddit of thousands of people who are completely obsessed with him. Like right now there's a huge "controversy" about him fake breaking up with some girl for the past few months.
