The reviews all kind of generally say it has an amazing atmosphere, story, characters, etc but that minor technical issues and the combat system hold it back. Most reviews are sitting at a high 6 or low 7.

Then you have people like ACG who loved it. Also the game just came out last night/today so more reviews should be coming in over time.

Im just wondering if any of yall had played it yet and have firsthand experience/opinions.

I am very interested in this game i think it looks cool and honestly while I was watching gameplay I though the combat looked pretty good so Im not sure why people are complaining about it.

I wish that the console version was discounted like the pc version is. The game will most likely drop in price soon but I might still buy it this week. There are still a couple of reviewers i follow who I would like hear what they have to say

Because the first episode is when a show/game is finding its stride. Because I can think of plenty of shows/games that dragged in the beginning and then something absolutely picked up.

Man you need to chill. I loved Life is Strange, but the dude is allowed to say he didn't enjoy it. That's fair. He tried it, wasn't for him, he moved on.
Stop being belligerent and giving LiS fans a bad rep.

Edit: I'm picking up Vampyr either Thursday or Friday. Not totally sure yet.
