Actually it on many documents and entch into many public building

Heck DOT and Immigration law mandate the ability to speak english otherwise you cant become a citizen or drive a commercial vehicle

Yeah I'm really annoyed by the people who say "English isn't the official language you know!" like that means anything. It means that English isn't the required or officially endorsed language for official documents and other stuff like that. An official language doesn't mean "you will be punished for speaking another language". Plus, individual states often have English as their official language anyway. It's just not federal.

I dunno, i think it depends, culturally as well. For eg. in most household men have obligation to grow up and become a high earning provider, i have had that demand from the moment i entered school and still sorta do. Women IMO don't have that, they can choose to do so, but if again we are talking about outside expectation, I have felt that heavy burden more often that not.

Even moreso, men are driven by their looks and ambition, something society has constructed. The same doesn't apply to woman, who can get things much easier than man. There was a post here a while back where a guy catfished as some below average looking girl to get some action, 'her' post was flooded with supposed alpha level mens attention. I doubt the same would work the other way around.

If we didn't have that 'burden' by society, i would freely do some shitty career that my family wouldn't feel pressure to push me to do so, with all the family social status and crap going on and I would completely abandon gym, eat as many junk food that i can. But alas, that isn't the case in modern day society, especially for a guy of my age.

So there is advantage and disadvantage to everything, as a female you have probably paid more attention towards social treatment of females.

...and in my life, Ive been physically emotionally and sexually abused, and most people I know have had similar stories and Or know someone close to them who has.

And of course we also have societal pressure. We must be clean and kind and caring! And I am ^^ but is it me, or is it what Ive been taught my whole life (and if I didnt obey those rules I did get abused more)

As well as female values from society. Youth and beauty! I dont use make up and some girls hate me for it. But I constantly want to feel beautiful and challenge myself and make sure Im in best style. Again all girls i know. If you dont youre seen as super edgy and crazy!

Look Im not saying you dont have challenges.

I'm just really depressed, and this is where my life is going. Chronic illness. I have already lost (or am about to lose) everything.
