Out of your list I have finished:
FF XII
SM 64

But I own, yet havent played:
FE Echoes
DQ VIII

So I would suggest either of the two options, I personally voted for FFXII. It is a long game for the main story. Super Mario 64 on the other hand is probably the shortest game on that list, to beat the main objective as well as 100% it.
Both are so diffrent, so it really depends what you are feeling like. Do you only play 1 game at a time? Or do you like to play 1 or 2 maybe, like a handheld and a console game in parallel?

I loved Twilight Princess by the way, what did you think about it? It was the first zelda game I finished the main story for, but it wasnt the first zelda I ever attempted to play (I played OOT first but got stuck and didnt finish it until later). And I also owned Windwaker since 2005 but also didnt finish it until 2012 for some reason, even though I took my gamecube to college with me during those years.

Normally, I would do that, but then I get bored easily playing either of the handheld games on the list. I kind of hate turn-based RPGs, but I listed DQ8 and SMRPG because I haven't finished them yet.

All the new tools were fun to use, I like that Link has an actual love interest in this game, but I hated how easy the bosses were; and Midna was also annoying sometimes with her useless pointers, and because I needed her help to jump across certain ledges by pressing the A button repeatedly. Also, I don't understand how Zant cracking his head to one side killed Ganondorf. I liked it better than Ocarina of Time, but less than Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.

I believe Mario RPG is the shortest on that list.

I know you asked clair, but I guess I'll answer. I liked it, but it was definitely not my favorite. It's actually pretty low. Though, The Adventure of Link is the worst to me... But like most Zelda games, it was fun. I don't really know what it was about that game. Like I said, I liked it and had fun. But there was something about it that just made it less enjoyable than some of the other games...

Is it? I didn't know that...

Out of FF XII and Berseria itd be FF XII. Got 100% on XII in less time than my first run of Berseria so only going for the story would be pretty quick indeed.

Have played Mario 64 but that was quite a long time ago so dont remember how long it was. Assuming i even beat it. And havent played the rest.

Grats on TP though. Only played a handful of the series but it was my favorite.

It's only about 20 hours long. Although Mario 64 might be shorter if you're just trying to beat it but 120 stars is for sure a time consumer.

I feel like no matter how long any of those games take, it would be time wasted. You can do better.
