Than writing your own?

I mean you have the opportunity to write a story with everything you ever wanted to read.

Putting the labor aside, it seems like something you should really be passionate about.

Is it normal to not be excited about storycraft? Is it even possible to fall in love with your own writing?

Not to begin with you don't. That's my favorite part of writing, forming the story in your head based on what the characters would do and how they would respond to what each other do.
