Every job that I have interviewed for I have got. I've applied for many jobs that I never got an interview for, but if I've got to the point of interviewing then I ended up getting that job.

Yea. Interviews are like performance art. Im pretty good at them. Usually I dont get jobs because Im under qualified compared to other applicants. My current job I got pretty much solely off my interview. Manager said he believed every word I said and so far have lived up to it.

If I apply and get an interview, my chances of getting the job are pretty high. I've probably bombed maybe 2 or 3 interviews in my life and when I did, it went horrendously bad. The big hurdle is getting the interview, after that, it's generally smooth sailing after that.

like how did your interview go really bad? I've had a few that have gone bad too

Was 100% before getting into the it field. Probably 90-95% now

Hmm... The most recent one was when I applied to be a teacher. I shot myself in the foot recounting a story about my issues with classroom management, how I was substitute teaching for a time and the kids were so rowdy that one of the other kids got fed up that he tried to walk out of class. I had to stop him twice. Truth be told, I didn't actually want the job and I sort of intentionally set myself up for that.

Another time was when I applied for a software development position and the recruiter and I had a back and forth phone tag. Where she missed the hour the interview was supposed to start, then I missed the rescheduled interview we set up the week after, then last interview, I stared at my screen waiting for the Skype interview to start, called the interviewer, but dropped it 2nd later out of nervousness. Then emailed the recruiter to ask what was up, and she ghosted me after that. I would have bombed the interview anyways (I tried some problems out of the Cracking the Coding interview book, I screwed them all up) but man was it a blow to the gut.
