I've kinda done it backwards and just picked up a few vinyls as collectors items, but don't actually have a record player yet. That's next on the agenda, though. What am I looking at?

You already have speakers in shit? Or gonna rock cans?

Audio technica AT-LP60 is a good starting point.

Look up Gary dellabate -bababooey-on Twitter, and see if hell answer you. The guys obsessed with vinyl and he knows his shit. Probably just googling his name with vinyl will get you some good info.

Something in the $250 range, Sony and Audio Technica turntable with a good speaker setup, dont cheap out with a $100 FYE or Urban Outfitters all-in-one piece of crap like I did which sounds awful and damaged a couple of my records.

In all honesty, I use Bluetooth on my phone and listen to the MP3 download that came with the vinyl 99% of the time I have music playing in the room, records get one spin fresh out the plastic and its shelf life from then on out.

I like the novelty of it all and couldnt give two shits about the warm, crisp sound vinyl gives.
