I dont know whats next for me now. The world of FFX isnt as immersive as the other FFs, but the story had me sucked in.

I wont be playing X-2 even though it came with my purchase.

What a powerful ending this game was. You have to kill off all your aeons and then fight Yu Yevon. And what exactly was the point of that? All of a sudden you get auto life on everyone, and it's just this massive waste of time.

What's worse is that Yu Yevon kept casting curaga at 9999 when I damaged for 9999 so it was this constant back and fourth thing that just sucked up time.

Omg...I had Zombie attack(the spell) on Tidus and Auron, too LOL. Whoops. Didn't even consider that.

well, Yu Yevon would just possess the next Aeon when he died, and when no aeon left he can be killed for good.
and as for the auto life thing, it's just a playable cutscene. fun fact, you still can get a game over by petrifying everyone in the party.

iirc, it was an official piece of literature from SE. I still remember the threads when it happened. Good times.

But yeah, they really milked the X story for all it was worth.

he didn't actually kick the bomb tho. a ball hit him, then explodes when he tried to check it.

x-2 is a great game
and in no way does it shit on x's story
give it a chance and judge it for yourself

its much happier than the first game but thats mainly because for the first time in 1000 years people are free from the threat of sin so they can finally live in peace and enjoy themselves without having the lingering threat of a violent death by an unstoppable giant monster hovering above their heads.

I'm not sure which ending is more Looney Tunes. We should also mention that this Tidus is the actual Tidus who lived a thousand years ago in Zanarkand, and not the perfect dreamboat idealization of Dream Zanarkand's Fayth. As a result, he is decisively not the man Yuna fell in love with and they split.

Then he dies like Wile E. Coyote.

Supposedly the combat is great and Via Purifico (?) is like the most metal of Final Fantasy bonus dungeons. I'm waiting to start it, until after I take down the FF12TZA Trials in Weak Mode.

I just meant the true ending where Tidus and Yuna reunite even though it was kinda teased in FFX's ending. Keep him dead and chilling with Jecht/Auron. It was a perfect ending.

I did kind like the idea of the Tidus who returns not being the Tidus she knew, because that's too fairy tale, doesn't make sense with the lore (because the Fayth that summoned him are permanently gone), and she really should move on with her life.

Lol the story in X-2 is God awful. It gets even worse in the after X-2 stuff as well.

Dude that game is not easy at all unless you are playing just the main story. There's so many difficult super bosses and stuff, the battle system gets crazy deep.
